I’m offering tips in my Essentrics classes this week, all about immune support keep you healthy throughout the fall and winter. So… Just in case you weren’t able to attend Monday’s class, I wanted to make them available to you.
Today’s tip was about what to eat and what not to eat. I doubt it will surprise most of you that sugar is the number one culprit to weaken your immune system and make you more susceptible to any creeping crud you might be exposed to — and the sugar in just one soda can reduce your immune function by up to 50% for four hours. And as a reminder, any processed food becomes sugar very quickly in your body so do your best to eat food as close to what it looks like when it comes out of the ground.
The top three foods to be sure to include in your daily diet are referred to in my book, Take Back Your Body, as the Three Musketeers fighting for your immune system because they are *so* powerful! Include at least one in your daily diet and be sure to keep some ginger root in your freezer for a simple way to head off colds quickly.
